We performed initial surgery for Bruce in October, ’00. He recovered excellent vision, but this drifted slightly from ‘perfect’. We provided enhancement care for him almost exactly a year later, and he has retained superb vision since.
Bruce was aware that his reading vision would not be as clear (without glasses) after LASIK, as it had been before surgery. He was very motivated to obtain unaided distance vision that was as sharp as possible, and was OK with using reading glasses for close work. He is quite happy with the results of his care.
