Glen had several conditions that warranted extra counseling and extra care. First, his left eye was a “”lazy eye”” (medical term amblyopia) meaning that even with the best possible prescription, the vision could not be corrected to a “”20/20″” level. We counseled that even after LASIK, he would still have the same limitation (though the vision would be much better than without correction before LASIK).
Second, Glen’s farsighted prescription is at the upper range of what laser treatment can correct, so we counseled that he might need enhancement care.
Fortunately, Glen had one of those ‘fairy-tale’ outcomes, and has been thrilled with his results. We, too, are thrilled.
