Having dedicated my life and career to the visual arts I can easily say that having excellent sight is extremely important to me. I would often dream of not needing glasses or contacts (as most people that are stuck with them do) and the thought alone that there are methods to correct poor vision still boggles my mind. Since I have my hands in a variety of things ranging from film to illustration I didn’t want to trust my eyes to just any surgeon.
From the first consultation visit to Dr. Wallace’s office I was blown away by how friendly and helpful the staff were. I didn’t feel like a number when I walked in. The staff took the time to smile, talk, and even joke around with me. They made me feel like they enjoyed having me there, which made me look forward to every visit. They also made me feel comfortable and safe, explaining every step of the LASIK surgery so I wouldn’t be surprised by anything. All of my questions were answered immediately. The surgery itself was quick and painless, and best of all I noticed results as soon as I sat up. LASIK surgery is one of those things that you wonder why you didn’t go through with it sooner.
Dr. Wallace and his staff deserve far more praise than I could possibly give by myself. I encourage anyone that has ever had the slightest urge to get LASIK surgery to go to Dr. Wallace’s office and discuss the options available to them. You won’t be disappointed.
To Dr. Wallace, thanks for allowing me to see the world with my own eyes again. I forgot how great it can be.
