Hello Dave,
I’m finally providing you feedback on my Lasik experience, and needless to say, I’ll be candid. When my father mentioned I contact you regarding the Lasik procedure I initially had my reservations. As we both know, business is business, and family is family. The Lasik procedure was mixing business with family, and outcomes could range the whole scale. I know our family, though, to be extreme perfectionists (yes, I’m guilty as charged). Your medical expertise was therefore a given, and I trust you implicitly. I was concerned about imposing on you (and Karen), however, and still feel indebted for your hospitality.
It took me over two years to get up enough courage to consider Lasik surgery. To put it bluntly, I was extremely nervous about elective surgery, particularly on my only pair of eyes. I feel foolish now. Everything you said and did regarding the procedure put me at ease. Your entire office staff is warm, pleasant, and professional. Your office and waiting room are simple yet elegant. The Lasik process is smooth and unstressed, and the surgery is painless. Vision results are immediate and my recovery was rapid. I simply cannot say enough to thank you.
I must say that after my first surgery, I was encouraged, but not fully satisfied. I had the feeling (and my vision confirmed it) that my vision could be better. Consequently, with Dr. Rod Keener’s support, I opted for enhancement surgery. After already having done the first surgery, I was fearless going into the enhancement surgery.
Since my enhancement, my sight has done nothing but improve. My right eye is a candidate for the Colorado Flight School. My left eye focuses clearly at 9 – 12 inches – perfect for reading. So, at the end of the day, am I happy??? ABSOLUTELY 100%!
What more can I say? Thank you again.
Yours,
Jeff
Doctor Wallace says:
Jeff is my cousin. He flew down from Northern California to have me take care of him. I was of course honored, but know that if anything imperfect happened, my name would be mud.
The initial surgery went smoothly, but he did need a slight touch-up in both eyes before recovering optimum vision clarity. I’m of course as thrilled for him as he is to have achieved this result.
