I am writing to you this morning, less than 24 hours after my LASIK procedure, without the use of glasses, contacts, reading glasses or anything at all! After wearing some sort of vision correction device for more than 45 years I cannot believe that I no longer need to worry about any of them.
This morning I threw away my contacts and gave all my saline solution to my daughter. What an amazing feeling! I want to thank you all for your professional, knowledgeable and considerate care of both me and my husband, who was fascinated by being able to watch the procedure from start to finish just outside the operating room!
I have told all of my family, friends and co-workers that now is the time for them to consider a LASIK procedure for their vision problems and of course I have recommended LA SIGHT as the place to do so.
Once again, my heartfelt thanks to the entire staff for an incredibly satisfying medical experience, one that I shall remember every morning when I wake up and realize that I don’t have to reach for my glasses anymore.

Doctor Wallace says:
It is always a delight to get this kind of feedback. I and my staff continually are reminded how fortunate we are to be engaged in such a “happy” profession.
It is rather typical for patients to experience an overwhelming sense of joy (at seeing clearly) and relief (their surgery went fine) beginning as soon as the morning after treatment. Specialists in vision correction recognize this and even have a term for it, the “Wow! Factor”.
The good news for Belinda (and others who may read these comments) is that her vision is likely to stay this clear for a very, very long time. Her referring optometrist has already advised me that, 3 weeks after treatment, she is healing nicely and remains happy.
